What this site collects, why, and what happens to it. Plain language; the short version first.

Last reviewed: August 2026 · applies to chamberlainirb.com and the consultation practice that runs it

In short

We collect only what you give us: what you type into the application review form, the seasonal offer form, the switch list and the live chat, plus the page you were on when you sent it. We use it to read and reply to your project, to quote and run an engagement if you choose one, and to send the switch list if you joined it. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else’s marketing, and we delete it when you ask.

What we collect

Everything on this list comes from you, on purpose, through something you submitted.

  • The application review form on the contact page and the homepage: your name if you give it, email, phone, where the project stands, the practicum site if you name it, and your note.
  • The seasonal offer form: name if given, email, phone, and the season it was sent in.
  • The switch list, here and in the footer: your email and the page you joined from.
  • The live chat: the messages you type, a session identifier so replies reach the right conversation, and the page you were on.
  • During an engagement: the project documents you share with us so that we can prepare the file, and the correspondence with the boards that we carry on your behalf.

Each form carries a hidden field that only automated submitters fill in; if it is filled, the submission is discarded unread.

What we do not collect

  • No advertising trackers, no analytics scripts, no third-party pixels. The site loads its two typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google’s font servers see the request for the font files in the ordinary way a browser requests any file; nothing else leaves the page to a third party.
  • No cookies for tracking. The site uses your browser’s session storage for two things only, both forgotten when the tab closes: whether the seasonal offer has already been shown, and whether the chat nudge has already appeared.
  • No payment details on this site. Fees are quoted in writing and settled under the engagement letter, outside these pages.

How we use it

  • To read your project against both boards and reply with the written review you asked for.
  • To quote the packages in writing and, if you engage us, to prepare the file, file it, and carry the correspondence with Chamberlain’s board and the site’s board on your behalf.
  • To answer you in the live chat and, if you gave a phone number, to call or message you about the review you requested.
  • To send the switch list if you joined it: one email when either board changes its process, a form, a portal or a calendar. Nothing else goes to that list, and every email carries a way off it.

Submissions from the forms and the chat go to the practice’s own lead-handling system, where the application desk reads them. The people who see what you send are the consultants and desk staff who will act on it.

What we never do

  • Sell, rent or trade your details, or share them for anyone else’s marketing.
  • Share your project or documents with Chamberlain University, your practicum site, or any board, except as the engagement requires and you have directed, for example filing the packet you asked us to file.
  • Send marketing blasts. The switch list is what it says it is.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept long enough to answer them and any follow-up you send, then cleared in the practice’s ordinary housekeeping. Engagement files are kept for as long as the engagement letter says, so that amendments and continuing review can be handled from the same desk that filed the original, and then cleared. You can shorten either period by asking.

Your choices

  • A copy of what we hold about you, or a correction: email hello@chamberlainirb.com from the address you used, and say so.
  • Deletion: the same email. We delete what we can delete; where a filed packet already sits with a board, that copy is the board’s, not ours.
  • Leaving the switch list: the link in any switch-list email, or the same address.

Where it is held

In the practice’s own systems, hosted in the United States, behind access limited to the people who act on it. If you write to us from outside the United States, your details travel here to be read.

Changes to this page

When this page changes in substance, the date at the top changes with it, and the switch list hears about it if you are on it. Continued use of the forms after a change means the current page applies.

Who we are

chamberlainirb.com is run by an independent consultation practice. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Chamberlain University, and it is not any review board. Questions about this page go to hello@chamberlainirb.com. Our terms and accessibility pages sit alongside this one.
